A Chosen Few was originally created as background singers and accompanying choir for gospel recording artist, Barbara Johnson Tucker. It is composed of some of Barbara’s special friends who for many years have shared her love for great music that praises our God. Like Barbara, they have sung in church choirs, community groups, and as soloists that love the challenge of great anthems, glorious hymns, jubilant spirituals and exhiliarating gospel songs!
In no time they soon developed a ministry of their own and have been featured at many local churches, community gatherings, and private assemblies in Texas and Arkansas including before President William “Bill” Clinton.
Formally launched in April 1994, A Chosen Few has been enlarged and is still in metamorphosis. But whether you see one of them ... or ... two ... or three, etc., you’ll see chosen ones, belonging to God and declaring the praises of Him who brought us out of darkness into His marvelous light!!!

They have three recordings......a Christmas tape entitled “Rejoice”, a gospel CD ... ”So Precious”and a CD of hymn and other favorites called “Be Encouraged”. They are completing a 20 piece-recording, BORN TO DIE, a cantata by Glenn Burleigh.
